Biography

Nicholas Martin Rodriguez

Nicholas Martin Rodriguez (4 October 1981) is a composer of original music and arranger. He earned his B.A. in music composition at California State University of Fresno where he studies with Dr. Kenneth Froelich, Dr. Benjamin Boone and Professor Brad Hufft. Before attending Fresno State, Nick studied music theory and entry level composition with Dr. John Gerhold. While attending West High School and later studying music in college, Nick was a member of the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps from 1999-2003. As a member of the West High School Viking Regiment and Santa Clara Vanguard hornline, Nick was highly influenced by the work of Jon Steinwinder, Gordon Henderson, Dean Westman and Key Poulan. Nick has also served as a music/visual instructor for several high schools in the central valley of California. Currently, Nick lives in Bakersfield California with his Fiance, Kristie and their two dachshunds, Wolfy & Dinosaur.
